What you ask us most often
If your answer is not here, write to us — we will gladly add it.
How does the unit trigger?
By itself, once a critical temperature is reached. It needs no power, no sensors and no wiring, and nobody has to operate it. The charge is solid rather than compressed gas, so there is no pressure vessel inside your panel.
Will the aerosol damage the electronics in my panel?
The extinguishing agent is electrically non-conductive and made for live electrical installations. There is no water and no powder involved.
Where does the unit go?
It clips onto the DIN rail next to the breakers like any modular device. If there is no room on the rail, it can be stuck to the inside of the door — though that is a less dependable mount.
It suits house and flat consumer units, sub-distribution boards, server and equipment cabinets, and distribution cabinets in businesses.
Can I fit it myself?
Mounting it on a DIN rail is a routine job any electrician will finish in a few minutes — feel free to call your own, you do not have to order installation from us. Switch off the main breaker before you touch anything inside the panel.
Which model should I choose?
It depends on the internal volume of your enclosure. There are three models:
- Small suppression unit — protects up to 0.1 m³, € 59.00 (€ 89.00 with installation)
- Medium suppression unit — protects up to 0.2 m³, € 69.00 (€ 99.00 with installation)
- Large suppression unit — protects up to 0.4 m³, € 79.00 (€ 109.00 with installation)
If you are unsure, send us a photo of your panel and its dimensions — we will tell you which one fits.
How long does the unit last?
Its service life is up to 10 years and it is maintenance free — no pressure checks and no refills. The operating temperature range is −50 °C to +90 °C.
Is the unit certified?
It complies with EN 15276, the European standard for condensed aerosol fire-extinguishing systems, and carries the CE marking.
What do installation and travel cost?
The price with installation is shown for each model. On top of it comes a travel charge of €0.50 per kilometre, one way from our premises in Baka. You see the final amount at checkout before you submit the order.
How do I pay?
With installation, you pay on the day or by invoice via bank transfer. Without installation, you choose between paying in advance by bank transfer (you get a QR code) or cash on delivery.
How is the unit delivered?
By Slovak Post to your address, or via Packeta to a pickup point you choose on a map during checkout.
Can I return it? What about the warranty?
On a distance purchase you have, as a consumer, the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receipt, with no reason required. The goods carry the statutory 24-month warranty.
